If the original was injection-moulded plastic and the manufacturer stopped making it, it's probably in scope. I'll tell you straight when printing isn't the right answer rather than sell you a part that will fail β€” load-bearing metal, gas-wetted, and food-contact parts are the usual no. Have your own design or 3D file? I take general print jobs too β€” send it over.

Can you make a part that's no longer available?

Yes. I reverse-engineer and 3D print discontinued and obsolete plastic parts from a photo or your measurements β€” knobs, clips, gears, brackets, housings, bezels and more.

What do you need to quote a replacement part?

A clear photo of the broken original with something for scale (a coin or ruler), plus the equipment make and model and the old part number if you have them. That's enough to start.

How much does a custom 3D printed part cost?

Simple parts like clips, knobs and spacers start at $29; most reverse-engineered parts run $75–250. Send your own 3D file and it's material + $15. Every job is quoted free before you commit.

How long does it take?

You get a fixed price and a ship date within one business day, and approved parts ship in 3–5 business days.

Are 3D printed replacement parts strong enough?

For most non-structural plastic parts, yes β€” I print in durable PLA, PETG or carbon-fiber PETG to match the original. I'll tell you honestly if a part should be metal or isn't a good fit for printing (load-bearing, pressure-holding or food-contact parts).

Can you print my own 3D file, or design a part from scratch?

Both. Send a ready STL or STEP and I'll print it β€” any part, not just replacements β€” or I'll design one from your requirements if there's no original to copy.

Do I have to be a repair shop?

No. I make parts for repair shops, restorers, hobbyists and anyone who needs a discontinued or custom part.

No original drawings and nothing to trace: the part was measured from ordinary photographs against a calibration target, rebuilt in CAD to those dimensions, and printed. Same three steps your part goes through β€” which is why a clear photo with something for scale is all I need to start.

Printed as a shape-and-fit demonstration. A printed carabiner is not load-bearing and is not a substitute for a rated climbing component.
